The refreshed design uses confident typography, spacious layouts and striking product photography to give the website a more premium, design-led feel. Simplified navigation and clearer product categories help architects, interior designers and specifiers quickly explore lighting products, industry sectors and technical resources.
Built on WordPress and WooCommerce, the website operates as a flexible online product catalogue rather than a traditional shop. The refreshed build makes it easier for the R&S Robertson team to manage products and content while providing customers with a smooth route from product discovery to enquiry.
We built a custom modular ‘page builder’ into WordPress that gives that freedom. After a 2-3 hour training session, the team was able to get to grips with managing the content. The WordPress backend is completely focussed on the required functionality with no bloat to slow things down or cause confusion.
