We have a great opportunity for a talented website designer to join our skilled team on a part time basis. Two days per week approximately (we can be flexible on this).
We are a busy Glasgow based studio working with clients across the UK on a diverse range of projects.We are looking for someone with experience producing website designs in Figma.
The successful candidate would be working as part of our team, producing unique website designs in Figma to be handed over to our in-house developers.
Alongside excellent design abilities you should also be a strong communicator, be comfortable interpreting a design brief and working with clients directly, happy presenting design solutions and have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
This is a fully remote role and we would be open to suitable applicants based anywhere in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.
Typical tasks
- You would be creating new website designs from scratch building on the clients existing branding, or designing new components for existing websites
- Planning website UX based on proposed content and site structure
- Produce website template designs in Figma
- Supplying developers with design assets where required
- Collaborate with our developers throughout the project lifecycle
- Work diligently to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Share progress of projects and communicate with the wider team on Slack
- Present your design ideas internally or to our end clients
Key Required Skills
- Comfortable using Figma to create a set of website designs
- Good understanding of website design principles
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practice
- Understanding of website Accessibility
- The ability to interpret a written or verbal brief
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
Additional Skills
Knowledge of any of the following would be useful, but not essential for applicants:
- General graphic design skills
- Image editing
- Video editing
- Social media content creation
- Motion graphics

Salary
- Up to £30,000 pro-rata depending on skills and experience
